What is the difference between the Classic and Cinema Highlights Montage?
The Classic Highlights Montage is a more traditional wedding recap video set to one song. The Cinema Highlights Montage usually runs between 10-12 minutes. With the additional footage from the bride and groom prep we have to make the Cinema highlights longer to tell a better story of the day
Will the videographer I’m speaking to be the one who will be shooting my wedding?
Yes, I (Jamie) will be the main videographer for each wedding except in the event of an emergency.
What types of cameras, tapes, and microphones will the videographer use?
We use digital 3 CCD Canon XH A1 HDV cameras. We use professional HD tapes to help insure against drop-outs. We use a Sennheiser wirless system and Sennheiser and AT shotgun microphones. Additionally we use digital audio recorders for the officient and another placed on a podium for any special readings.
Do you use on-camera lights?
Our cameras work well in dim light situations, however, during the reception we almost always need to use our on-camera lights.
Do you travel?
We will travel for all our packages; however, travel fees may apply for locations over 50 miles from Rochester.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes we accept credit cards, but 3% of the package price will be added due to Paypal's processing fee. This is a straight pass through cost and there is no mark-up.
Tell me about editing equipment.
We edit on Apple computers using Final Cut Pro. We have multiple workstations to keep the production workflow running smooth and efficient.
Will a backup camera be on-hand for the event?
Yes, we always have a backup, because you never know what might happen and we want to guarantee that you get the coverage you pay for.
When does the coverage start?
The start time varies based on the package you select.
How are the videographers dressed at the event?
We will be dressed in dark professional attire. If your event is casual we will dress appropriately to blend-in with the guests.
How visible is the videographer at the event?
We are as unobtrusive as possible while getting the best shot possible to tell your story.
How does the videographer coordinate with the wedding photographer?
We work very well with photographers. Before the event starts we discuss the placement of cameras to allow both of us to acquire the best footage possible.
